Process control and processes are designed for our customer’s specific needs. The materials you supply Nu-Metal are unique and should be treated as such. Processes are designed for each part. We do not subscribe to the concept that your material must fit our process. If your material requires extra rinsing, custom cleaning, specialty masking, or controlled atmosphere sintering we are equipped to meet your requirements. Nu-Metal’s processes are individual units with specific process controls assigned at each location. We assembly these individual units into the unique recipe needed to make your material perform as designed. We have achieved precious metal coatings on substrates that our competition said could not be done. This was done successfully by engineering flexibility into the processes and controls. Custom Plating Software

Our custom software was designed to remove the road blocks that off the self software creates. Numerous data base fields allow us to capture the specific information needed to completely meet your needs. We have the ability to track print revisions, specifications, AQL level, packaging, surface area, lot number and other information for each part number. Our software contains the following modules:

Nu-Metal Quote Tool – This module captures all the information needed to produce a quote and build the initial plating process for your materials. Surface area, packaging, masking, and inspection class are a few of the data fields used to build your initial quote. See our on-line RFQ form to have Nu-Metal build a special process for you.

Nu-Metal Process – The “heart of the system” contains all the process specific detail for each part number processed at Nu-Metal Finishing. This module is directly linked to Quote Tool which allows a completed quote to become an active process. This is the module that separates Nu-Metal from our competition. The level of detail that can be captured is astounding, which allows the production team complete process knowledge from incoming inspection to final shipment.

Nu-Metal Purchasing – This is a comprehensive Purchasing tool that allows the control of purchased materials used at Nu-Metal Finishing. This module controls purchases from only certified suppliers for critical materials and creates the necessary records for control of suppliers and traceability of purchases.

Nu-Metal Schedule – Chemistry control along with skilled platers is a combination for successful results. This module contains all the details for plating bath make-up, testing, frequency of preventative maintenance, and other critical controls needed to keep the chemistry performing at optimal conditions.

Nu-Metal Vendor – This module contains the Approved Vendor List and supplier surveys for Nu-Metal Finishing’s critical supplier base.
